Atlas of Creative Tools

Choreographer Liz Lerman approached the Herberge Online team with an idea to bring her "Atlas of Creative Tools" workshop to a larger student audience. The resulting effect brought together a creative team that pushed the boundaries of engaging student experiences in a hybrid environment.

TIMU Redesign

TIMU is a project management application that takes the best features from its competitors and compiles them all into one place. While the applications seems to do everything, the interface suffers from "feature creep". To improve the usability of TIMU, Neudesic recruited a team of ASU students to help with user research.

 

Next Generation LMS for Herberger Online

It's a common complaint heard on university campuses across the US: "I hate Blackboard". Tired of hearing this, a small department at ASU took the initiative to reimagine the next generation of learning management systems. Currently, part of an IRB approved study.

Naavi

Technology drives innovation, but not all innovation is equal. Naavi was the result of a year long project focusing on the user needs of the visually impaired. Working with a cross disciplinary team of five students, we spent the year researching, designing, and developing this product for an undergraduate capstone project.

A Better Running Experience

The following project is a case study that relates to one of my favorite activities, long distance running. An idea that was suppose to be a quick design thinking exercise turned into a feature addition for the Garmin Connect application.
